Child Table Upsert

  1. Hover over the First option on the left menu of your homepage and and click into the desired Table

  2. Apply any filters and click "Export"

  3. From the List View on your vsimple Home Page Apply any filters and click "Export"

  4. Download both exports emailed to you.

  5. Click "Admin"

  6. Click "Import or Update Records"

  7. Click "Create Import"

  8. Choose the Record Type:

    1. Child Records are any table sections in the workflow
  9. Chose the Import Type:

    1. Upsert: Create New Records and Update Existing Records. Child Record ID is required to update, but not to create. A Vsimple Parent ID is required to Create.
  10. Click "Next"

  11. Click "sample CSV template" to download to your downloads folder.

  12. Map your data onto the template.

  13. Use the Parent Vsimple ID from the emailed export to attach the new table data to the correct parent record. Use the Child Record ID to update current data.

  14. Drag and Drop or Click the cloud icon to select the proper CSV file.

  15. Click Import
