Troubleshoot Chrome message “Error Occurred While trying to subscribe you to notifications”

  • Go to chrome settings via the 3 dots on the top right of your browser

  • Enter "Notification" in the search bar

  • Click "Site Settings"

  • Make sure that "Sites can ask to send you notifications" is checked and that there isn't a Magicbell URL in the "Sites not allowed to send notifications section" (if there is click on the 3 dots and remove it)

    If all of that looks good, then reconnect to Magicbell again by doing this:

  • Go to your Vsimple page

  • Go to chrome settings via the 3 dots on the top right of your browser

  • Click on "More tools"

  • Click on "Developer tools"

  • Click "Console"

  • Paste "localStorage.clear()" and enter

  • Then click Magicbell bell and "Enable Browser Notifications"
