- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Notifications in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Open Notifications settings for me - Go to Application Notifications on the right, click the website, then change the website alert style and other settings

Ensuring that a party receives a notification upon record update

- By typing the “@” in front of the person’s name (without spaces) in the Activity Stream, this person will be added as a collaborator to the record and will be notified of your comment via email or bell notifications, depending on this user’s notification settings - The person tagged in this must be an existing user member of your user base

Troubleshoot Chrome message “Error Occurred While trying to subscribe you to notifications”

- Go to chrome settings via the 3 dots on the top right of your browser - Enter "Notification" in the search bar - Click "Site Settings" - Make sure that "Sites can ask to send you notifications" is checked and that there isn't a Magicbell URL in the "Sites not allowed to send notifications section" (if there is click on the 3 dots and remove it) If all of that looks good, then reconnect to Magicbell again by doing this: - Go to your Vsimple page - Go to chrome settings via the 3 dots on the top right of your browser - Click on "More tools" - Click on "Developer tools" - Click "Console" - Paste "localStorage.clear()" and enter - Then click Magicbell bell and "Enable Browser Notifications"

Edit notification preferences

- Locate and click the Bell Notification icon on the top right corner, next to your profile icon - Click on the settings or gear icon - To receive notifications, user must be listed as a collaborator on the specific Record - Added As Collaborator: Each time a user is added as a collaborator of a record, the user will be notified - Announcement: check this box to be notified of any Vsimple software updates - Custom Notifications: (recommended) To be specified by an account manager/ Admin - Mentioned In Message: (recommended) check this box to receive a notification when directly tagged in a message - New File Or Message: check this box to receive a notification whenever a new file or message is communicated within a record. Type of Notification: - IN APP: the notification bell will be illuminated with a red number - WEB PUSH: notifications must be enabled within your website browser settings to allow vsimple to trigger a banner notification - EMAIL: this notification, along with a link to the record will be sent within 10 minutes after the notification is triggered. If the user notified is within the exact record, an email will not be sent to the tagged user(s)
