- From the records page in the Nav Bar on the left of your vsimple platform, click into the desired record. - Locate the text box beneath the description of the record. - To engage in the conversation, add the communication and select “post”
Drag and Drop and Email: - Within the activity stream, select button “Add file” - From desktop email application (currently not functional via browser email as of 1/2023), drag desired email into the drop box - Name the file and choose the file type (this will allow the future user to search by file type) - Select “post” Forward an Email to a Record: - Click the 3 Dots on the record - Click "copy Record Email" - In the To:; Cc; Bcc line on your email, click ctrl+v or right click paste on your mousepad - Send your email - Hit refresh on your Vsimple page and your email should be posted.
- Within the activity stream, select button “Add file” - Use the drag and drop or browse box to upload the file(s) - Name the file and select “File Type” from the drop-down box - Select “post”
- Select the 3 dots on the right of the file you wish to make changes - In the drop-down box, select “Rename” the file to include nomenclature which denotes that the file is outdated
- Select the 3 dots on the right of the file to which you wish to make changes - In the drop-down box, choose “Delete.” Note, this function is only available to users with admin permissions.
- Select the file and it will automatically download to the “downloads” file on your desktop or smart phone - In the “Docs Shared” column on the right of your record, scroll down to find your file or use the drop-down menu to sort by file type - Locate and click the 3 dots on the right of the file - Scroll to the “download” option in the pop-up menu - This file can be found in the downloads file on your desktop or smart phone

Within the record’s Activity Stream, you will find the icons for to “Add bold text,” “Add italic text,” “Add highlight text,” “Add a numbered list,” and “Add a bulleted list”
- Locate and click on the record - Locate the Collaborators section of your record to the right of “Description” - Below the member’s names, select “View & Manage” - Search user’s name(s) in the text box and select “Add” to add them to the record - The person added must be an existing user member of your user base - Click the “X“ aside the user’s name you wish to remove from the record (only available to admins)
- Anyone who has their notifications checked “on” and is assigned as a collaborator in the record will receive a notification each time there is post or upload in the Activity Stream - Checking the box “Don’t notify collaborators” will ensure that a notification will not be sent to the collaborators on this record. @ Messaged users will still be notified (their notification settings pending).
